The client asked me to go to his place to compare his ideas for a logo design based in complex geometric designs with my samples. I asked him if it was really necessary for me to drive 1 hour to go there and mentioned that we could do it by email and phone. The client said that it was hard for him to make me understand his ideas by phone without the images in front of us.
Finally, the client decided to try sending by email and talking by phone. After half an hour of misunderstandings and talking about my design proposals, I figured out that we were not talking about the same designs, so I asked him which designs he was specifically looking at in that moment.
client: I'm looking at the sketches I copied by hand from the designs you sent me on the computer because I can't have a computer and a phone in the same room at the same time.
