OK, we sold a colour MFP to a client, who wanted to produce their own letterheads.
First they were shown how to scan a document in, then how to use it as an overlay.
Then they produced their existing Letterhead, printed on offset litho, on rippled Yellow Conqueror paper, mainly produced from 72DPI web images.
"Why can`t we just scan that in and print it?"
The most sophisticated image manipulation software they posessed was Word.
When we asked for an original document, they gave us a PDF.
We subsequently found thatnone of their pre-printed letterheads came out the same colour on a reliable basis, and were all produced by their printer on a Mac using Quark 2.
"But you sold us the equipment"
