I work at this computer company that helps customers when they have problems with their computers. We also help people with apple computers but we only have one technician.
*phone calls with important customer*
Customer: you've gotto help me! i'm on my way to a very important meeting and i can't get my computer to start - the screen is all black!!
Me: ok, settle down. have you tried to switch the computer on?
Customer: Yes, and everything that usualy lighs up, lights up. so there must be something terribly wrong with my imac.
Me: Ok, i'll have a technician ruch over to you and he'll have a look at your computer.
I call our only apple technician and have him drop everything he's doing and he rushes over to the customer. He runs into his office, sits down at the customers computer, turns on the monitor and everything looks Ok.
Cumtomer: How did you do that???
technician: Do what? What was your problem?
Customer: The computer was all dead - but now it seems fixed!
technician: You didn't try to turn on the screen... ?
(we charged him good for an express help..)
