During an internal review of a Fortune 500 company's wesbite:
Creative Director: (confused) Hey, what is that red bar at the bottom that says loading?
Me: (feeling a bit uncomfortable now that all eyes are upon me) That's the load bar. It's an indication to the end-user how much of the needed Flash content has downloaded.
Creative Director: I don't remember hearing or seeing anything like that in the comp. Why do we have to have content load in the first place?
Me: (I snapped at the utter stupidity) Because [the fortune 500 company site] doesn't ship with Windows 95!
