i work as a video designer, and recently did a video with a workmate for a museum. i was told by my boss that the client usually used the font "frutiger" on most of its material, so my logical decision was to use that same font.
after all work was finished, one day before the client's approval, my boss walks in with a guy that was the supposedly art director for this job, but which hadn't done anything yet.
my boss told me he wanted to change the background color a little, which was a pretty easy thing to do, so i didn't mind. but after choosing a different color, the guy wanted to change the font. i replied that was the one the client used on their material, but he insisted, so i just wrote a random sentence on photoshop and went through all fonts i had installed on my computer, so he could find one he actually liked better.
so there we are, and after a couple of "this one is nice, but keep showing me others", he shouts:
"that one is wonderful! i really like this one! how is it called?".
to which i look at my workmate and reply: "frutiger. it's the one we're using on the video..."
