As you pay for college, this counts somewhat:
stupidity can always heighten the enjoyment of one's 8am physics class
physics requires 1 semester calculus completed, with all students currently having passed or currently enrolled in the second semester of calc.
Prof writes function on board:
v(t)= 12.6 - 4.60t + 12.4t^2
dan: that looks linear.
Prof: it's not, there's an exponent.
dan: Yeah it is, if you graph it without the exponent it's linear
Cue the entire class staring at dan, while the professor just stood there for a full minute very obviously fighting not to say anything.
(for those of you that aren't familiar with graphing functions that's somewhat like saying that tuesday and friday are spelled the same, if you ignore everything but the day part.)
