A reversal for me: designer becomes client becomes designer.
A CD label was outsourced because my department (me) was overloaded as it was. I was asked to proof the design. The next 30 minutes were spent on a conference call with the head of the company and his top designer:
Me: "You've completely skewed our logo!"
Them: "What do you mean skewed?"
Me: "You didn't size it proportionately. It's stretched out."
Them: "I don't think it's all that noticeable. But we can make it taller, too, if you like." "By the way, how do you size it so it doesn't do that?"
Me: "I'll send you something print-ready by the end of the day, just use that."
We just let these people wander around unsupervised?
