My fiancee (also my tech support client ;) ) got home from work early today. She sent me an email a few minutes ago that reads:
"I'm sitting here watching TV and your computer is making weird typewriter sounds."
I immediately thought, "Oh crap, probably a fan going bad.. What a stupid way to describe the noise though.. Better call her and have her shut it down."
I was on the phone with her trying to get her to pin down exactly which computer was making the noise (I have several in the same area) when I realized:
"Shit, I was just remote desktoped into my workstation.. And I left the speakers on.. AND I WAS JUST BROWSING CLIENTCOPIA.COM on that machine."
LOL
