I was in a supermarket having a quick shop just a bag of potatoes and some tins. The lovely happy, chatty, friendly lady ringing up the items was also helpfully bagging up the items for me.
After she put the tins in a carrier bag she picked up the potatoes put them into another bag then put this bag in the first bag.
Thinking that the bureaucrats had introduced more madness involving metal tins being not allowed to touch 'real' food I asked her why she did it. She replied "Because I don't want to make the bag to heavy for you to carry"
I smiled at her trying not laugh out loud and thanked her for her thoughtfulness, truth is she made my day.
