So we had a 4 hour budget to recreate the homepage for a boring flooring company. I threw something together and managed to come in right on budget. I delivered the comps to the client's point of contact within our firm (I'm going to refer to him as 'K') and was told the client signed off, pleased.
I get an email just now from K which included an excerpt from the client's email to him:
Hi J (me),
This is original copy from the client describing what he wants:
"... I did send you an email last week about adding an announcement under news regarding (company name) and the consumers choice award. Furthermore I asked that the logo be displayed on our website home page either, possibly spinning with some *twinkles* on it..."
So - the only thing spinning so far is my head...
Are people seriously still asking for spinning and "twinkling" logos? I guess this is why the guy is installing floors for a living.
