I walk into a local chain drugstore looking for vitamins. I find them, reasonably priced at $4.99, so I take them to the front to pay. The manager is at the register taking customers. She scans the bar code and a price of $17 and change comes up. The following conversation takes place:
Me: Um, they were priced at $4.99. If they are $17, I don't want them.
Manager: Oh, well let me go check.
Me: Do you want me to show you where I got them? (trying to be helpful because I don't want to wait 10 minutes for her to find them and have the people behind me getting mad)
Mang: No! I know where everything is in this store. I stock everything!
I stand and wait, she comes back quickly (surprisingly).
Mang: I looks like someone stocked them in the wrong place. I have to give them to you for $4.99.
I pay and get out of the store before I bust out laughing.
