Stupid Client Quote #6703

This was passed along by a very technical but fun-loving member of our I.T. staff. While doing some long-distancing driving, his mp3 player died so he stopped at the nearest big box electronics store and bought a new Apple iPod. As soon as he got in the car, he ripped open the packaging and started playing with it. After a few seconds, he noticed that the screen had really weird looking colors and the display was hard to read.

Since it was brand new and he was still in the store's parking lot, he grabbed the packaging, receipt and iPod and took it back in the store. The people behind the counter couldn't find anything wrong and the guy admitted that it looked fine. As he was walking out of the store (while looking at the iPod's display), he put on his new sunglasses ... and suddenly the display looked really weird again.

Since then, any oddball technical problem he brings up in meetings will cue somebody to say, "Did the problem occur with your sunglasses on or with them off?!" ;^)
