Oh god, the clueless temporary team leader from #7495 still doesn't know how to do her job.
TTL: Can you get rid of this temporary delegation notice thing?
Me: Um, no. It is supposed to be there. All you need to do is go and talk to the staff member who initiated it-
TTL: But she isn't on my team!
Oh Jesus, not this again...
Me: No, that's why you have this notice. Someone from outside your team was on after-hours duty, and she has received a call about this case, so she has requested temporary ownership of it on the system.
TTL: So what do I do about it?
This is the point where I am dying inside; she is asking me, the IT guy, to explain her job to her, and she is a manager in a decision-making role.
Me: I'm not sure how the process works, as I just look after the computers, but as far as I understand it, you go and talk to her and ask her a simple question: Did you make a decision on this case that needs to be recorded? If she did, then you have to approve it so the paperwork is in order. If she didn't, ask her to retract the request on the system (a single-button click) and it will vanish from your in-tray.
TTL: I still don't understand.
AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!! THIS IS YOUR JOB YOU SILLY BINT!!!
