A woman had walked into our store and immediately came up to my counter with a folder full of papers and receipts, never a good sign.
The first thing out of her mouth was that she purchased our extra warranty, which is usually a good thing cause then she'll leave happy, almost no matter what.
She then proceeded to tell me her issue. Her laser printer stated it needed a new drum.
I explained to her she just needs to purchase a new one. Her answer was that it was covered under the warranty. I explained what a drum is and that it's a consumable. I had to break it down even further and explain that a car warranty doesn't cover gas.
She kept saying she had the warranty in between everything I tried to explain and I said we have to order her another one. She continued playing the fool when it was clear she understood, especially after she saw the price.
This went on for about ten minutes after the initial issue was stated.
We ordered her a new drum.
