Customer walks up and starts asking a question in spanish, and I as politely as I know how tell him in my broken spanish that I don't speak spanish. Most of the spanish speaking customers are very understanding, and these situations usually end with a game of charades or me leading them to a worker who speaks spanish. But not this guy, as soon as I said "no habla espanol" he, in perfect english, started yelling "How the h*** can you be employed in a 'hispanic area' and not speak spanish". To which my coworker responded "Well this is still America buddy". He didn't like that too much, and went on another tyraid spouting about how "if you didn't speak spanish then you don't deserve to be in his neighborhood" until the store's manager gently escorted the man from the store.
